Scotia
LVT needs to have an expansion gap, and Scotia is a decorative trim that covers the gaps between the bottom of the wall and your newly laid floor. It avoids any exposed edges, means you don’t have to remove your skirting boards and they can even be painted to match the colour of your walls, laminate or LVT.
Design strips
Design strips allow you to create that designer look with your luxury vinyl flooring by adding design and grout strips in between and around your LVT floor. Filling in gaps produces a more realistic finish, and gives you the option to add in unique decorative features. They also won’t stain or discolour like grout can, so it’ll look like it’s just been laid for longer.
Borders
One of the best things about borders is that they can add a finishing touch to your design, frame permanent fixtures or highlight a key area of the space. You can even use them to create a visual separation between two colours. The options are endless – just let us know what kind of design you’re looking for.
Doorbars
You’ll probably have noticed the little gap where the flooring of two rooms connects in the doorway. Door bars are solid strips of material, usually made from metal or wood, that sit over the gap in your doorway to create a smooth transition from one room of your home to another. Available in a range of colours and finishes, they’re a great way to mask unfinished woodwork and protect the edges of your new flooring.
